INTERVIEW WITH BLISTERING...

Seattle’s Book of Black Earth has kept busy over the last few months. In October, they followed the scent of blood left by Watain on stages in towns across America and just recently, the atmospheric death troupe travelled state to state as a prelude to the pummeling stage act of Cattle Decapitation. Even though Book of Black Earth was not the main attraction, they weren’t even the runner up (Withered went on before Watain and Psyopus preceded Cattle Decapitation), their performance made a noticeable impact on the Watain and Cattle Decapitation devotees. Not only did the band display crushing death metal, which fits well with extreme metal crowd, but they brought a sound distinguishable from their tour mates, as well as the death metal norm...
